Lovely 2BR condo with Resort Access, Gym & Pool 1608

Great views of the ocean from the balcony. Very comfortable beds/linens. Perfect for 4 people! A little too far from night life as you had to Uber to everywhere, but we knew that going in. Wanted to have a quite hotel stay.

Nice room Nice facilities . only problem was The hotel ftont desk check in process. Positive: we liked the room itself and the location along with the amenities. Negative: we spent hours trying to check in. It appeared as though the front desk could not process our room deposit. Front desk told us it was a system issue however we saw another person get checked in. they told us that the room was ready, but they could not process. waited approximately four hours to get keys. still have not received our 250 deposit back. I called the Alexander a couple of times and got different information from different people.

Not what we expected… Positive: As much as we wanted to love this place as the first day went on it just became a big bummer. First glances looks nice. The door to the balcony has something wrong with it make a very loud clanking sound. And the view is of the hotel next door being remodeled. There is no spa it is not a resort. No restaurant or breakfast and the nearest places to eat are miles in each direction. There was a private owned restaurant on the property but wasn’t affiliated with the hotel. The restaurant was strictly kosher which is great but the food isn’t what you would order first kids that are unfamiliar with this specific culture. We walked the board walk to dinner came back the same way and the hotel locks the gate to enter through. I called and instead of having someone let us in they told us very rudely and short to just walk all the way around to the front! But we had to find an opening that cut through to the road. Oh and if you do not almost slam the condo door it creeks open. The bathrooms need serious attention. It looks like they have just patched up things and feel like it looks good. No cell phone plugs on the night stands. Also the drinks at the pool bar were in a very small baby plastic cup for 22.00$. You can’t bring food or even your own cups near or around the pool so you are forced to pay for the extremely over priced sodas and water.
